Summer Housing

Applications

If you are a current house member planning to sign up to stay at the house for the summer, please talk to the House President. If you are a potential BU student pull-in or alumnae email her.cooperative@gmail.com with questions.

Deadlines

Please note that House members get priority for spots, then BU student pull-ins, and lastly alumnae. The preferred deadline for letting us know you are wanting to live in the House is April 14; the hard deadline is April 21.

Dates (will vary slightly each year)

Summer 1: May 22- July 1

Summer 2: July 1 – August 12

Summer 3: August 12 – September 1

Check in/out procedure

Spring Semester

• May 13 by noon
  • All academic year residents must be moved out and go through check-out procedures if they are not a graduating senior, staying for summer 1 housing, or helping with graduation
• May 22
  • 10:00 am: anyone who is not staying for summer must return their keys by this time
  • 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm: earliest move-in for summer 1 residents. MUST GET KEYS IN THIS HOUR. If not, keys are available at the Kilachand ORL from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
    • Note: there will be no after-hours key grabbing. Must go during the day.

Summer 1 dates: May 22- July 1

• July 1
  • 12:00 pm: all Summer 1 residents must be checked out, unless staying for Summer 2
  • 1:00 pm: Summer 2 move-in. Note: keys must be picked up through House Director

Summer 2 dates: July 1 – August 12

• August 12
  • 12:00 pm: all Summer 2 residents must be checked out, unless staying for Summer 3
  • 1:00 pm: Summer 3 move-in.

Summer 3 dates: August 12 – September 1

• September 1
  • 12:00 pm: all Summer 3 residents must be checked out, unless staying for Fall 2017
  • 1:00 pm: earliest possible Fall semester move-in
