HERAA 85th Anniversary Weekend & Annual Meeting
April 4 – 6, 2014
Join fellow alumnae and current House residents the weekend of Friday, April 4 – Sunday, April 6, 2014 for a celebration of the legacy of the Harriet E. Richards Cooperative House.
This celebration will coincide with our Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 6, 2014.

Alumnae Brunch & Annual Meeting
Join us for our official 85th Anniversary Celebration and annual meeting. Tickets for this event will include a catered brunch.

Location: Harriet E. Richards Cooperative House, 191 Bay State Rd., Boston, MA
Additional Information: Loved ones are welcome. There will be vegetarian options available during brunch.
BU Pub Night
Join your fellow alumnae for a casual evening gathering at the BU Pub, just a few brownstones down Bay State Road. HERAA will provide light appetizers. Adult beverages and signature sandwiches are available for purchase.

Cost: Free to register.
Additional information: 21+. The BU Pub is only open to BU alumni and one guest. If you plan to attend this event, please make sure to bring your BU Alumni Card (Available for download here).
Architectural House Tours
Join Keith Morgan, Director of Architectural Studies at Boston University, for an architectural history tour of the HER House. Prof. Morgan will lead you throughout the House discussing the Greek marble columns in the foyer, the atrium lighting on the second floor and more. This is a chance to revisit your days as a HER House member from a new perspective!
Date: Saturday, April 5
Time: Tours at 9:30am and at 10:15am
Location: Harriet E. Richards Cooperative House, 191 Bay State Rd., Boston, MA.

Join current House members Cherice Hunt and Lili Wondwossen for a walking tour of campus. Cherice and Lili currently serve as BU President’s Host and will lead you on a one hour walking tour of the Charles River campus. You’ll get to revisit your days as a student all while taking in the sights and sounds of the ever-changing landscape of Commonwealth Avenue.

Location: Tours will begin and end at the Harriet E. Richards Cooperative House, 191 Bay State Rd., Boston, MA.
Additional Information: Tours are walking and will last approximately one hour.
Oh, the Places You’ll Go: Adventures of our Alumnae
Join us for an in-depth panel discussion on women in the workplace featuring a broad spectrum of our accomplished alumnae. We’ll conclude the evening with several mini-presentations on an aspect of alumnae work or specific adventures post-graduation from BU. This event is meant to provide an entertaining forum for sharing stories and advice on careers, family, and personal well-being.

Using public transportation is highly encouraged. There are Red Sox games on Friday, April 4 at 2pm, Saturday, April 5 at 7pm and Sunday, April 6 at 1:30pm that coincide with our various weekend events. There will be limited street and commercial lot parking available on or near campus.
If you need to drive into town, please take note of the following information regarding parking:
- Arrive for your events early and try for metered street parking. Meters take quarters only, but are free on Sundays.
- BU has several parking lots on campus that will be open throughout the weekend, but will have Red Sox event pricing on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
- BU alumni receive a 50% discount in all BU parking lots, even during Red Sox games.
- A list of available parking lots, including maps, can be found here.
- BU alumni must have an alumni card – no exceptions – to get the discount.
- Alumni can get a free card here.
Again, we encourage you to take public transit, if possible.

If you are a local alumna and are available to host out-of-town alumnae or an out-of-town alumna looking for a local host, please contact HERAA. HERAA cannot guarantee we will be able to secure a homestay for visiting alumnae; please have alternative accommodations available.
